Faith

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Sometimes things are so cloudy in your relationship with another that you can't see your way clear. Love is a powerful tool but I believe it takes faith to push you through the tough times. Faith to love a person after they have wronged you. Faith when you've given and given and it appears nothing is being reciprocated. It takes faith to push love over the edge in such a way that you give without the thought of getting anything in return, that's take love, It takes faith to love someone when all you've done is bent over backwards to make sure their every desire and need from you has been fulfilled.but you did it with such ease because love doesn't expect anything in return. You wrong me but I take no notice because I've denied myself, picked up the cross and now my eyes are on Jesus who took on my sins and forgave me. How can I not follow His directions to love others as He loved me. A love that knew no boundaries, a love that came with no strings attached, a love that loved me when I was and am unlovable, a love that isn't tic for tac. He just loves me just like a am with all my struggles, all my insecurities, and all my malfunctions......He loves me just the way I am. but He loves me enough NOT to leave me that way. He changes me from the inside out from day to day as I welcome and invite Him to dwell in this temple that I might be more and more like He is. As He changes me, my heart, my mind, and my spirit I conform to His way and He transforms me into the daughter he called me to be before I was ever formed in my mothers womb. Love, then becomes a part of my character and faith is what I fight each day to keep and exercise it in my life each and every day. Join me in the only battle God ever told us to fight. The good fight of faith and with this one weapon we can do all things through Him as He strengthens us by His power and His might.

Prayer

Father, I am forever thankful for your love. I am humbled and I stand in awe of just how much you love me. I feel your presence and my soul cries out for you. Thank you for your unconditional love. A love that knows no end. A love that never rejects me but with arms wide open welcomes me in. Thank you for allowing me to be me. Thank you for allowing me to make choices in my life that Father aren't always the best for me, but you suffer it to be so while never leaving me alone,but you're always there to mend my broken heart. You chastise me when I need it but you never beat me when I'm down. You allow me to go through things to learn who I am and to allow growth in my life because you're taking me somewhere. Thank you for the growing pains. Thank you for the times when the answer to my prayer is no because you're taking me to the palace and I'm pitching a fit because the pain is more than I want to bear to get there. Oh, Father strengthen me by your power and your might. Thank you for loving me when I am unlovable. Thank you for when the enemy means to bring bad things in my life. but you turn those things around and you make them good. Thank you for knowing that whatever I go through in my life that you are always here for me. Thank you for never leaving me and for always being by my side. Thank you for times like these when I should be in the bed you just minister to my heart. Thank you for being my comforter. Most of all I thank you tonight for being such a forgiving Savior and washing my sins all away to remember them no more. Thank You God!

How is Love Unfailing?

How is love unfailing? :Love never fails. Love covers, Love is not self-fish or self-centered. Love reaches out. Love does not seek her own. Love suffers long. What,I thought love was suppose to feel good. Not necessarily. Love will put others well being before your own. With a husband, wife relationship love will seek to build up and not tear down. Love will honor, cherish, and respect. Love will be an action and not just a four letter word. Love will make you believe the very best in your wife, or in your husband. Love will cause you to honor and respect one another. Love will cause you to put your spouses needs before your own. Love will cause a wife to shut up and will cause a man to speak. Love is a powerful tool. If you need help in this area pray and ask the Father who gives ua all good things. He wants you to give your love with joy and not because you think you have to but freely give and watch God move in your realationship as husbands and wives submit to one another. True Love

Love is a wonderful tool God has given us. It's amazing that if we ask God for His love----agape----a love that has no strings attached, a love that covers----covers, covers. What does it cover? It covers when I've said or done something against you knowingly or unknowningly. It covers when I've made horrible mistakes in my life. It covers when I don't do things exactly the way you desire me to,. Love covers. Love forgives. Love reahes out and gives you one more chance. Love welcomes you back even when you left for the wrong reasons. Ask the prodical son after he left home for all the wrong reasons, greed, selfishness, unthankful, and disrespectful of his dad. (Read Luke 15:11-32) but love welcomed him with open arms and killed the fatted calf because his son came to himself and returned home after realizing he'd made a big mistake. He learned some life lessons as he ate with the pigs, and all his so called friends abandoned him when his money ran out. I don't know of any love greater than the Master Lover. I can tell you the story of Mary, Mother of Jesus cause I believe she loved Jesus to death. I could tell you about the Shunammite woman whose son died and she rode as fast as she could to the prophet, she held to her faith that the man of God who prayed for her and she conceived a child was able to pray for her son and life would return. She rode as fast as that donkey could take her. The man of God wanted to know if it was well with her, was it well with her husband, was it well with her child and each time her response was it is well! What a reminder of our faith in God and the Mother's love for her child. But there is no greater love than what Jesus has for us. He loved us so much that He GAVE His life. He knew what we would do and the sin we would commit and yet He still chose to die for me. I stand in awe of this kind of love. I am amazed at the fact that there is nothing I can do to stop Him from loving me! Nothing. He loves me through all my stuff. He loves me even while I sin against Him. How can I not be humbled by such a great love? He was hung high and stretched wide, shedding every ounce of His blood., He hung His head and gave up the ghost. In three days He rose again just for me, just for me. I can't help but praise Him! He is truly the lover of my soul.

Thankful

Father, it is with gratefulness of heart that I approach your throne in the wee hours of morning when everything and everyone is still.  I thank you Father for your love towards me.  I thank you Father for loving me when I didn't deserve to be loved.  I thank you Father for loving me in my darkest and loneliest hours.  I thank you Father for loving me even when I didn't love myself.  You are so God in my life and without You, I can do nothing.  I am forever grateful to be called your daughter.  I am humbled by Your presence in my life. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. You will not suffer my foot to be moved: As you keep  me you will not slumber, nor sleep . The LORD is my keeper : the LORD is my shade upon my right hand. The sun shall not smite me by day, nor the moon by night.    The LORD shall preserve  me from all evil: he shall preserve  my soul.  The LORD shall preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.  I praise You for Your excellent and mighty power and it is truly in You, I live, move, and have my being!  Lord, I can't do nothing without You.  Thank You for being God in my life, over my life, and through my life.  You created me to be a blessing and I will do and be all You created me to be in this day, as I take one day at a time.  Thank You God for granting me the peace today to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things that I can and giving me the wisdom to know the difference between the things that I can change and the things I can't do anything about.  Thank you Lord for working on me daily and today I freely give myself to You to use as a tool in Your hands.  I surrender all to you today, withholding NOTHING!  And Father for those areas where I am weak, and those areas where I need to grow, help my unbelief, my fears, and Father create in me a clean heart and renew a right Spirit in me.  Again, it's to You I surrender......my life is not my own to you I belong, I give myself away.  Thank You God! 

Why Love Unfailing?

Why have I chosen a name for my new adventure in this part of my journey in life, "Love Unfailing"?  This name has been birthed in my spirit because of God's commandment : John 13: 34 & 35. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.  So I understand that God has commanded me to love, so I must then determine exactly what love is.  I know there are many types of love.  If I were elaborating love in a sermon I might want to speak about-- Eros, which is the physical, sensual love between a husband and wife.
Although this Greek term does not appear in the Bible, eros, or erotic love, is portrayed in the Old Testament book, The Song of Solomon. 
Philia, which means close friendship or brotherly love in Greek, Storge which is family love, the bond among mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. or Agape which is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love, the highest of the four types of love in the Bible.
